This sound is born from a call for sound, highly intellectual, but still it happened in a place that was focused by the call, an interstice of thecity, occupied house,
raising other kind of lives, of people that are not supposed to be here, and how urban places create welcoming moments.

Washroom attendant, in French is said “Dame Pipi”, with english words, LAdy Pee. If someone knows the exact term for this, do NOT hesitate dto write me or comment on the soundcloud sound to tell me the english version. It is the story of this woman that tells about her daily life. A lady that made her job very much hers.

This documentary is the first part of a longer work : the second part is in progress.

It’s happening in Prizren, Kosovo, and a little bit in Prishtina. It tells the story of my trip there, and especially the meetings, to understand what is said about the uranium-laden bombs that fell between March 24 and June 10, 1999 on Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro. And on the heads of the people I met. The second part is being finalized in Vranje, a city that also had a communication antenna on its peaks, and that NATO has also heavily bombed … Just like in Prizren. But on the other side of the border, in Serbia, 160km by road.

It’s a job that took a long time to get done, 13 people particpated to the dubbing in French, we speak in English and Serbian mainly because I only stammer Albanian.

A huge thank you to Jean-Philippe Zwahlen for the mixing, for taking the time needed, without whom this work would not be what it is , or perhaps would not even be at all.

Thank you to a lot of people, everyone who will recognize, who helped me to hold on to finish it!

I open the eyes. Where am I ? An experimental travel in two soul walking around Vienna.

Anstatt. “Instead of”. A reflexion on the multiple ways to experience one place. The only stable character of this work is Vienna. This bilingual soundpiece (english-german) was co-written afar by two persons that had never seen each other.  In touch thank to radio networks, hey met for the first time in Vienna, for the production of this work. “Instead of” is a creation that was born without being planned. Thank you B#, my co-author, for this unexpected adventure !

This work comes from germanophony : Vienna. Produced in 2015, it is “released” in French now, subtitled. A radio Orange and Col-me orgaanization production, broadcasted oin Radia network in 2015.
