Lisbonn’s sky is grey. People around whisper this word, a huge word: the struggle. On Rossio square, people baptized their movement different manners: the “indignated”, the M12M – standing for March 12th movement – a protest oganized then by this “fucked-up generation” which they represent. Against Portugal’s financial debt, the brutal economic collapse, and the political complicity.
It stopped raining, and I crossed this square. I stop in front of a pond, formed by the cloudburst: it is impossible to cross it with only one jump. People around get active with brooms to sweep away the water that settled in the curved part of the traditional white and black cobblestones.
They are all sweeping up the water towards the underground’s air vent. I stopped to observe: this is the very moment when I met a certain Alfredo.

A chuva acabou agora, eu atravesso a praça.
